Virtual Office + Ejari
The virtual office package at Oh My Desk gives you a registered Dubai business address and the Ejari certificate you need for your trade licence — without paying for a physical workspace you don't use. 8,000 AED a year, all-in. The address is Al Fattan Currency House, 32nd Street, Downtown Dubai, directly facing City Walk — the same
address as our flagship physical location. It looks like a Downtown office address on your business card because it is one. What's included for 8,000 AED a year: the registered address valid for trade licence registration, the Ejari certificate filed with RERA and issued within 48 hours of you signing, mail and package handling at the front desk (we receive, log, and notify you), 2 hours of meeting room time each month if you need to meet a client in person,
phone reception during business hours as an optional add-on, and access to all three Oh My Desk locations as a paying member if you want to drop in occasionally.
The Ejari we issue is accepted by DET (Dubai mainland trade licence) and by all major free zones we've worked with: IFZA, RAKEZ, Meydan, Shams. We've issued a few hundred Ejari certificates since 2022, so our team knows the friction points — which free zone takes 5 days vs 10, which one is best for ecommerce, which one cares about a physical inspection, which authority requires a separate letter from us. We confirm acceptance with your specific authority before you sign, so you don't end up with paperwork your licence office refuses.
The virtual office is the right call if you're a remote founder running a Dubai entity from outside the UAE, if you're a digital nomad on a freelance permit who needs the trade licence address but works from cafes or home, if you're an international company opening a Dubai branch without immediately hiring locally, or if you're testing the Dubai market before committing to a physical office.
About one in three of our virtual office members eventually upgrade to a dedicated desk or private
office when their team grows or they relocate full-time to Dubai.
One important caveat we tell every founder upfront: the virtual office Ejari is valid for trade licence registration and renewal, but it does NOT allow you to stamp employee visas. If you plan to hire staff on UAE residency visas, you'll need to upgrade to a private office (the office Ejari, from 6,500 AED a month, allows visa stamping). The standard pattern: founders start with virtual office while solo, upgrade to private office when they hire their first UAE-based employee.
We work closely with the banks that handle most new-company accounts in Dubai — WIO
(digital-first, fast onboarding), Mashreq Neo (simple for solo founders), Emirates NBD (more traditional but well-known).
The virtual office Ejari is accepted by all of them. If you need help getting introduced, we make the call.
To get started: book a 20-minute consultation (in person, video tour, or WhatsApp) with our Ejari specialist. We'll confirm the best free zone or mainland setup for your business activity, prepare the paperwork, and have your Ejari certificate ready within 48 hours of you signing. The fastest setup we've done was Monday morning sign
to Wednesday morning Ejari, with a DET trade licence issued the following Thursday —
end-to-end one working week.
