Day passes are 120 AED. All monthly memberships include access to the three Dubai locations. Pricing is identical across locations. No setup fee, no DEWA surcharge. We file Ejari registrations with RERA for trade licence applications, accepted by DET mainland and the major free zones (IFZA, RAKEZ, Meydan, Shams).

The private office (from 6,500 AED/month) is your own enclosed, lockable room for 2 to 15 people. Branded signage, full privacy, soundproofed, and the Ejari is included. The virtual office plus Ejari (8,000 AED/year) is just the registered Dubai address and Ejari paperwork, no physical desk. Best for founders running a Dubai entity remotely. The meeting room (from 120 AED/hour) is bookable for 4 to 12 people, with 4K screen, video conferencing, and reception service.

Do you need a Dubai trade licence? If yes, you need either the virtual office package (no physical desk) or a private office (workspace plus visa stamping for employees). The honest pattern: solo founders start with virtual office or hot desk, upgrade to dedicated desk after a few months, then move to private office when they hire their first employee.

Dedicated desk and above add 24/7 access, lockable storage, and 6 hours of monthly meeting room credits. Private office adds the locked office door, branded signage, soundproofing, and Ejari registration filed with RERA within 48 hours, valid for DET mainland and free-zone trade licences. Virtual office plus Ejari drops the physical desk but keeps the Ejari, the registered business address, mail handling, and 2 hours of meeting room credits monthly.

No. The five things typically charged extra elsewhere that are bundled into our monthly price: Wi-Fi quality upgrade, DEWA surcharge, meeting room hours within your plan credits, daily cleaning, and reception. We have also removed the deposit on most monthly plans. What you might pay extra: parking subscription if you want a reserved spot, extra meeting room hours beyond your monthly credits (member-discounted), and printing volume beyond the 100 free copies a month. Cancellation: month-to-month plans require 30 days notice. No exit fee. Annual contracts (the virtual office package) have a different structure explained at signing. If any of this feels too good to be true, ask at the tour to see a sample anonymised invoice from an existing member.

Pick coworking (hot desk or dedicated desk) if you work alone, do not need privacy for calls, are flexible about your seating, and do not currently need a Dubai trade licence tied to your office address. Pick a private office if you have a team (2+ people), take confidential client calls regularly, your accountant or investors expect you to have a real office, you want branded signage at the door, or you need a Dubai trade licence with Ejari and ability to stamp employee visas. The private office includes Ejari for free; the coworking plans do not, and adding the virtual office package on top of coworking (8,000/year) often makes the private office more cost-effective. The crossover point we see most often: a founder starts solo on a dedicated desk, hires their first employee, and within 6 months moves to a 2-person private office.

Your second monitor stays plugged in. Your equipment is there waiting for you tomorrow. You get 6 hours of meeting room credits monthly instead of 3. The maths: if you go to the workspace four or more days a week, the dedicated desk is worth the extra 550 AED. One trap to avoid: people who travel often sometimes pay for a dedicated desk to have a base in Dubai and end up using it 5 days a month. At that point, a hot desk plus a virtual office package would have served them better.

Trigger 4: your investors or board expect a real office address when you raise a round. Trigger 5: you are spending more than 2,500 AED/month on dedicated desk plus virtual office package. At that point a 2-person private office (6,500) gives you the Ejari, the privacy, and the address. When you upgrade mid-contract, we credit the remaining time on your current plan toward the new one.

We do not recommend combining virtual office plus private office: it is redundant. The private office already includes the Ejari and the registered address. You can also combine any membership plus meeting room rental for clients or events exceeding your included credits.

Virtual office plus Ejari: this is the exception, sold on an annual basis (8,000 AED for 12 months) because the Ejari registration with RERA is annual. Day pass: zero commitment. Meeting room rental: pay-per-hour. The 30-day notice on monthly memberships covers logistics. It is industry-standard at this price point in Dubai. No exit fee or early termination penalty. A few cases that bend the rules: if you sign a private office for a team and your visa or licence application gets unexpectedly delayed, we pause your contract rather than charge you for an empty office. If you need to relocate to a different Oh My Desk location mid-contract, no transfer fee.

Can I change or upgrade my Oh My Desk plan mid-contract?

Yes, in both directions. Upgrades (smaller to bigger plan): immediate. We credit the unused portion of your current plan toward the new one. Most upgrades happen the same day or within 48 hours. Downgrades (bigger to smaller plan): require the standard 30 days notice, then you switch. The reason for notice on downgrades is room availability. Switching between locations (Downtown to Business Bay to D3): no penalty, no transfer fee, same pricing. The new badge is reissued within 24 hours. The general principle: we would rather keep a member on the right plan than lose them because they got stuck on a plan that does not fit anymore.

Yes, on two products. Every private office includes Ejari registration at no extra cost. We file it with RERA within 48 hours of you signing. Every virtual office plus Ejari package (8,000 AED/year) is built around the Ejari and the registered Dubai business address. Our Ejari certificate is accepted by DET (Dubai mainland) and by the major Dubai free zones: IFZA, RAKEZ, Meydan, Shams. We confirm acceptance with your specific licence authority before you sign. What we provide directly: Ejari filing, registered business address, mail handling. What we coordinate at no extra cost: introductions to DET, the free zones above, and trusted PRO services for visa stamping. Important caveat: the virtual office Ejari does not allow you to stamp employee visas. If you plan to hire UAE-resident employees, you need to upgrade to a private office.

As a non-member: book through the website or by walking in. Standard rates start at 120 AED/hour for a 4-person huddle room, up to 420 AED/hour for a 12-person boardroom. All meeting rooms include 4K screen with HDMI and wireless casting, whiteboard, water and tea/coffee setup, video conferencing equipment compatible with Google Meet, Zoom and Teams, and reception service for greeting your guests. Bookings can be made up to 30 days in advance. Last-minute bookings are usually possible during business hours.

Can I get a day pass or trial Oh My Desk before committing to a monthly plan?

Yes. Three ways. Day pass at 120 AED: walk in any business day at any of the three locations, buy a day pass at the front desk, use the coworking area for the day. Includes WiFi, coffee, kitchen. Single-location, available Sunday to Thursday between 8am and 7pm. Free 15-20 minute tour: book a guided tour through the website, WhatsApp +971 4 304 4222, or as a walk-in. No sales pressure. Free video tour: if you are not in Dubai yet, we run live video tours over Google Meet or Zoom. The day pass is the closest thing to a true trial: you actually work from the space for a full day. Most members who eventually sign for a monthly plan did at least one day pass first. The 120 AED is credited toward your first month membership if you sign within 14 days of your day pass.

You choose which location when you buy the pass. Meeting room rental: location-specific. A common pattern with members: they keep their primary base at one location but use the others 2-4 times a month for variety or proximity to specific clients.

Yes, and this is one of the most common reasons people upgrade. On a hot desk or dedicated desk plan: each membership covers one person. To add a team member, you add a second membership. On a private office plan: the room is priced for a specific seat capacity and includes all those seats. Each seat gets a badge, locker access, and full membership privileges. If your team grows beyond room capacity, we either move you to a bigger room or add desks to an adjacent space. Mid-contract additions: easy. Add a member any time. We provide the new badge within 24 hours and prorate the first month fee based on the date they start. Visa stamping for new hires (if you are on a private office plan): the Ejari supports your existing employees, but each new employee visa is processed through the relevant authority.
