Most 1-on-1 video calls are 30 minutes or less, so the included credit covers many calls per month. Extra hours bookable at the member rate, lower than the public 120 AED per hour. Group calls or workshops (1 hour+): book a larger meeting room. Same credit pool, but the larger rooms eat more credit per hour. Worth pre-booking for any recurring client call. What is not OK: taking calls on speaker from your open coworking desk, taking calls with your camera off but mic on for 30+ minutes from the open area, or taking calls with loud background music on. Belongings: hot desk members clear their seat at end of day. Dedicated desk members can leave their setup but keep it tidy. Lockers available for hot desk members. Guests: members can bring 1 guest for under 2 hours per visit, free. Beyond that, the guest needs a day pass at 120 AED. Loud or sustained team meetings: book a meeting room, not the open area. Yes. Every Oh My Desk monthly coworking membership (hot desk and dedicated desk) includes business address use at the location you sign up at, plus mail and parcel handling. What this means in practice. Business address: you can use the Oh My Desk address (Al Fattan Currency House for Downtown, Bay Square Building 12 for Business Bay, etc.) on your business cards, website, LinkedIn, and email signature. Useful for credibility and for clients who want to see a real Dubai address. Mail handling: postal mail, courier packages, and DHL/Aramex/FedEx deliveries are accepted at reception during business hours. We notify you (via WhatsApp, by default) and you collect at the next visit, or we hold it in a secure mail area. Phone reception: included on dedicated desk and private office plans. The community manager can answer calls in your business name and transfer or take a message. Hot desk plan does not include phone reception, but the front desk will direct ad hoc visitors to you when you are in. What this does not include: trade licence and Ejari. If you need a Dubai trade licence and the Ejari is part of your licence application, that is the virtual office product (8,000 AED per year) or a private office plan. Open coworking does not provide Ejari for trade licence applications.

No 6-month minimum, no 1-year lock-in. Hot desk and dedicated desk both work this way. What flexibility looks like in practice. Pause: you can pause your membership for 1 month per year (commonly used by founders who travel for a long-term trip). The seat is held, you do not pay during the pause. Cancel: send a WhatsApp or email by the 1st of the month, your membership ends on the last day of that month. No exit fees, no penalty. Upgrade hot desk → dedicated desk → private office: anytime, with prorated charge for the rest of the month. We move you mid-month, you only pay the difference for the days remaining. Downgrade dedicated desk → hot desk: same logic, you keep the membership the next month at the lower rate. Switching locations (Downtown ↔ Business Bay ↔ D3): no fee, just tell us 7 days ahead so we can prepare your seat. Cost example: a 3-person team on dedicated desks = 3 × 1,500 = 4,500 AED per month, all-inclusive, with each member also getting 6 hours of meeting room credit (18 hours total for the team). Compare to the 2-person private office at 6,500 AED — coworking comes out ahead for small teams unless privacy is critical. When you need a private office instead. Team of 5+: the open area starts feeling cramped for sustained team work. Frequent confidential calls: HR conversations, M&A discussions, legal calls — all need walls. Sensitive client work: legal, healthcare, finance often need privacy by compliance. Trade licence Ejari: only a private office (or virtual office) provides the Ejari needed for some trade licence applications. No fee, no contract reset. Dedicated desk → 2-person private office: when you hire your first full-time team member or when calls become too frequent for the open area. We show you the available 2-person rooms at your location, you pick one, you move in within a week. Costs go from 1,500 to 6,500 AED per month. Prorated billing for the remainder of the month. Private office (2-person) → larger private office: when your team hits 3, 5, 8, 12 people. We have rooms at every size up to 15 people. Moves happen mid-contract with no penalty. We keep you at the same location if possible, but can also move you between Downtown, Business Bay, and D3 if you prefer. Trade licence and Ejari upgrade: once you move to a private office, the Ejari can be issued for the room (typically 8-12 weeks turnaround through our specialist). Useful if you are setting up a new entity or transitioning from a virtual office Ejari to a full physical Ejari.
