We're hiring

Working at Oh My Desk

We're opening a third location and the team is growing with it. Here are the open roles, what we actually expect, and how hiring works.

In short

Oh My Desk runs three locations in Dubai — Downtown, Business Bay and Dubai Design District, opening 1 October 2026 — with more than 750 members. The team works in French, English and Arabic, Monday to Friday. Six roles are open, and open applications are welcome all year.

01Open roles

Six roles, three locations. If yours isn't listed, the open application section is further down this page.

Front desk operator

One role per location: Downtown, Business Bay, d3 · Full time

What you'll do: you open the space, welcome members and visitors, and give tours when someone walks in without an appointment. You handle access badges, meeting room bookings and deliveries. You take in the mail of registered companies and let the recipients know.

You keep the space in order: coffee, printer, rooms reset, small issues reported straight away.

What we're looking for: fluent English is required, a second language is welcome. You stay calm and friendly when three people talk to you at once. You're punctual and reliable — that's the heart of the job, before any experience.

Apply for this role

Community manager

All three locations · Full time

What you'll do: you bring the members together — breakfasts, afterworks, introductions between neighbouring companies. You run Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, and you write the copy, not just the captions. You answer messages and comments the same day. You collect member feedback and pass it on to the team. You work closely with the videographer to keep the shooting schedule full.

What we're looking for: you write well in English and French. You're comfortable walking up to strangers in an open space. You can run an event end to end, budget included. Experience in coworking, hospitality or events helps a lot.

Apply for this role

Videographer / editor

All three locations · Full time or regular freelance

What you'll do: you shoot across the three locations — member portraits, space tours, events, short social formats. You edit everything yourself, from rushes to export, English subtitles included. You keep a shooting schedule with the community manager and hold the publishing rhythm. You look after your gear and the footage library.

What we're looking for: you can shoot and edit alone, with no crew around you. You know Premiere or Final Cut, and sound in real conditions. You film people at work without getting in their way. A link to your videos counts more than a CV.

Apply for this role

Sales / business developer

All three locations · Full time

What you'll do: you answer incoming enquiries — WhatsApp, phone, forms — and you give tours. You build proposals for private offices and teams of several people. You prospect nearby companies and referral partners: lawyers, company formation firms, real estate agents. You keep the CRM up to date and can say where every deal stands.

What we're looking for: you've sold services in Dubai, in any sector. You answer fast — here, an enquiry is won within the hour. Fluent English; French or Arabic on top is a real advantage.

Apply for this role

Office / facilities manager

All three locations · Full time

What you'll do: you keep the three locations running — air conditioning, cleaning, security, internet, furniture. You manage suppliers and negotiate maintenance contracts.

You handle stock and orders: coffee, paper, supplies, consumables. You prepare the fit-out and the d3 opening ahead of 1 October 2026.

What we're looking for: you've managed a building or several sites in Dubai. You know how to deal with contractors and tower facilities teams. You fix a problem before members notice it. A driving licence helps for moving between locations.

Apply for this role

Accountant

Downtown · Full time or part time

What you'll do: you keep the books for the three entities, from entry to reconciliation. You invoice members, track unpaid invoices and follow up. You prepare VAT and corporate tax with our firm. You reconcile the bank accounts and produce a clear monthly summary for management.

What we're looking for: you've handled the accounts of a UAE company before. You know 5% VAT and the current corporate tax rules. You're comfortable with an invoicing tool and a spreadsheet. Accuracy and discretion, no exceptions.

02How hiring works

Three steps, no more. We don't run six interviews for a front desk role.

Your applicationStep 1

You send your CV through the form, with two lines on the role you want and your availability. For video, a link to your work replaces the cover letter.

The phone callStep 2

A twenty-minute call: the role, your hours, your situation in Dubai. We tell you during the call whether it can work.

Meeting on siteStep 3

You come to the space where you'd be working. You meet the team, see the place on a normal working day, and ask your questions.

03Open application

We also hire outside of posted roles when someone interests us. Write to us, even if none of the roles above fit.

What we look at first

Reliability. A coworking space runs on people who open on time, answer fast and keep what they promised a member.

Languages

English is essential day to day. The team is trilingual French, English, Arabic: every extra language genuinely gets used here.

What helps

Hands-on experience — hospitality, retail, events, restaurants. We can teach the job; we can't teach a sense of service.

How to write to us

A CV, two lines on what you're after, your availability and your visa situation. No three-page letter.

Timing

  1. 1You applyThe form takes two minutes. You get an email confirming we received it.
  2. 2We call you backUsually within a week, Monday to Friday.
  3. 3You come on siteThe meeting happens at the location itself, not over video.
  4. 4You get an answerYes or no, we reply to every application.

Frequent questions

Do you sponsor the visa?
We discuss it case by case, depending on the role and your situation: some candidates arrive with their own visa, others don't. Tell us where you stand in your application, it saves time on both sides.
Do I need to speak Arabic?
No, Arabic isn't required: English is enough to work with us. The team is trilingual French, English and Arabic, so Arabic or French on top is a real advantage, especially at the front desk.
Do you hire juniors?
Yes, especially at the front desk and on community, where we look at attitude and reliability first. The accountant, facilities manager and sales roles do require experience already gained in Dubai.
How long until I hear back?
We reply to every application, usually within a week. If you've heard nothing after ten working days, follow up on WhatsApp or at careers@ohmydesk.com.
What are the working hours?
The working week runs Monday to Friday, as it does across Dubai. The front desk follows its location's opening hours on a rota; exact hours are given during the phone call.
How do I apply for a job at Oh My Desk?
Upload your CV via the form on this page or email careers@ohmydesk.com. Every application is read, and we reply, usually within a week.
What roles do you hire for?
Front desk and community, sales, operations and facilities, plus finance — across Downtown, Business Bay and, from October 2026, Design District.
Can I apply without an open vacancy?
Yes — send a spontaneous application to careers@ohmydesk.com; we keep it on file and come back to you when a matching role opens.
Where would I be working?
In one of our three Dubai locations: Downtown (Al Fattan, facing City Walk), Business Bay (Bay Square) or Design District (d3).
What is it like to work at Oh My Desk?
A small trilingual team serving 750+ members across three locations: hospitality first, real responsibility early, and a workplace people actually enjoy coming to.
