Nurseries in Business Bay Dubai: 6 Compared, From 45 Days

JINS Downtown, Kids Castle Business Bay, Blossom Business Bay and Blossom Downtown all take a baby from 45 days old, and all four say so on their own website. Of twelve nurseries examined in and immediately around Business Bay on 4 October 2026, six publish the age they accept, three publish the hours they open, and not one publishes a fee — on a service where Dubai law requires the regulator to approve that fee before it is charged.

Which nurseries near Business Bay take a baby from 45 days?

Six of the twelve. The table below is the whole readable market, in the order a parent going back to work reads it: the youngest age the nursery publishes, then the length of its published day. All of it read on the operator’s own website on 4 October 2026.

Five of the six land on the same number. The sixth is the exception that makes it visible.

Summary table of the Business Bay nursery survey of 4 October 2026 — six nurseries, the youngest age each publishes and the hours each publishes, five of them starting at 45 days

How did we rank these?

On the youngest age the nursery publishes itself, then on the length of the day it publishes. Age first, because it is the only criterion that decides whether a parent can take the place at all; the day length breaks the five-way tie at 45 days. Both numbers come from the operator’s own site, read on 4 October 2026, never from a listing page.

Three things we could not do, and say so rather than invent. No Google rating and no review count: reading Maps at scale is beyond us, so the line is absent rather than guessed. No walking times: we cannot compute a pedestrian route, so distance is given as bands. No opinion on the care: nothing here is inspected in person. It is compared, on what each operator publishes.

We are not on this list. Oh My Desk (that’s us) runs coworking and private offices, not a nursery, and does not belong in a nursery ranking. We appear twice below — as the fixed point the distances are measured from, and once with a priced comparison — and both mentions are marked.

Why does almost every nursery here start at 45 days?

Because that is the day the full pay stops. Under Article 30 of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021, a mother in the UAE private sector gets 60 days of maternity leave: 45 fully paid, then 15 at half pay. The nursery market has set its floor to the first number.

Nothing in Dubai’s nursery rules requires 45 days; it is not a legal minimum. It is the market reading a payslip. Five of the six readable nurseries publish exactly that age, and the one that does not — Toddler Town, at three months — sits a month and a half after the half pay has run out too.

A second line in the same law only makes sense if the nursery is near the desk rather than near the bed: a mother is entitled to one hour a day of paid nursing breaks for six months after delivery. An hour is enough to cross Marasi Drive. It is not enough to cross Dubai.

The six that publish the age they take

1. JINS Downtown — 45 days, and the longest published day

Jumeirah International Nurseries publishes 07:00 to 18:00 at South Ridge Towers on Al Abraj Street, and takes children from 45 days to 5 years on the British EYFS framework. Eleven hours is the longest day any nursery here puts in writing. No fee is published.

2. Kids Castle Business Bay — 07:30, and it is the standard day

Listed by its operator as part of Kids Kingdom Learning Centre, at bay level, Windsor Manor Building. The site publishes 07:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday and four age bands, from infants of 45 days to 17 months up to Foundation Stage at 5 years. The 07:30 is the opening time, not an extra — that is what separates it from the two Blossom branches. No fee is published.

3. Blossom Business Bay — 45 days, and you can buy two days a week

At 8 Boulevard Walk Tower, ground floor, facing Burj Khalifa Boulevard. The site publishes Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, early drop-off from 07:30 as an option, and 45 days to 4 years. It is the only one of the six to publish an attendance structure rather than a timetable: 2, 3 or 5 days a week. For a parent who does not work five days, that is the difference between a usable place and an expensive one. No fee is published.

4. Blossom Downtown — the same offer, the other side of the road

At Yansoon 7, Al Manzil District, in Old Town. Same operator, same published shape: 45 days to 4 years, 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, early drop-off from 07:30, same 2, 3 or 5 day options. It is here because it is one of only two nurseries in Downtown proper that publish anything checkable. No fee is published.

5. Canadian Kids Nursery — 45 days, on our own street

At Churchill Tower, Marasi Drive, the same street as our Business Bay address (that’s us). The site publishes 45 days to 5 years and a trilingual programme — English, French and Arabic. It publishes no hours and no fee, which is why it sits below three nurseries with the same minimum age: on the one remaining question, the site is silent.

6. Toddler Town British Nursery Downtown — three months, and ratios in public

At the promenade level of The Residences. The operator publishes a minimum of three months — the only figure here that is not 45 days — and, unusually, its staffing ratios: 1:3 for babies rising to 1:7 in Foundation. Nobody else publishes a ratio. It publishes neither hours nor fees, and no address beyond the branch name.

Which nurseries are named but cannot be ranked?

Six more addresses were examined and left out. None for being bad: each for something we could not read, and the reason is written.

Learning Tree Nursery — on every list, and unreadable

At Bay Avenue, Executive Towers. The only nursery named by all five lists, and the one we could not read: learningtree.ae fails the TLS handshake on both the bare host and the www one. Directory pages carry an age range and a fee band; neither is the operator’s own publication, so neither is in our table.

Creative Kids ELC — the website the directories publish does not exist

At Clayton Residency Tower, Marasi Drive, described as KHDA-approved. The website two directories give for it, creativekidsdubai.com, does not resolve at all. An operator on our own street whose published website is dead cannot be compared on anything.

Angel Heart Nursery — a site with no building, no age and no hours

Its own site places it “at the heart of the financial district, business bay” and names its curriculum. It publishes no building, no age range and no opening time. The absence is the information: on the two questions this guide ranks on, there is nothing to rank.

Numu Nursery Business Bay — confirmed by its operator, described by someone else

Numu’s own site lists Business Bay among its branches and publishes nothing further — no address, no hours, no age. A specialist review site reports the Canal Bay building, 8am to 5pm, 45 days to 6 years and an annual fee. That is a third party’s figure, not the nursery’s.

Maple Bear Business Bay — three lists place it here, the brand does not

Bayut, Property Finder and Sotheby’s all put Maple Bear at Burlington Tower, Business Bay. Maple Bear’s own contact page lists ten Dubai branches and none of them is Business Bay. The branch URL still exists on the brand’s site and serves the Jumeirah branch’s content. Named, left out, question left open: a listing says who was once leased a unit, not who is open this morning.

Burj Daycare Nursery — one list, no operator page found

Placed by a single list near the Burj Khalifa tennis courts, in the Children’s Pavilion. We found no operator publication to check it against, so it is named and left out rather than described second-hand.

Why do five lists of Business Bay nurseries name different places?

Because none of them is a register. Five lists read on 4 October 2026 name nine places between them. One name appears on all five.

Three of those rows are mistakes a parent would act on. Kids Castle and Kids Kingdom are the same operator at the same Windsor Manor address, counted twice across the set. Maple Bear is named by three lists at an address its own brand does not claim. And 8 Boulevard Walk is filed by one directory under the parent group’s name as a Downtown nursery and by its operator as Blossom Business Bay — the lists cannot agree which district one ground floor is in.

The ages are worse, because the age is what the decision turns on. Canadian Kids publishes 45 days on its own site; one list gives it 6 months. Numu is reported at 45 days; another list gives 3 months. A parent with a seven-week-old reading the list would conclude the place is closed to them. The operator says it is not.

What does Dubai law say a nursery here must do?

More than most parents realise, and it is public. Executive Council Resolution No. 35 of 2020, amended by Resolution No. 26 of 2023, regulates early childhood centres in Dubai.

What the law fixesWhereWhat it says
What “early childhood” isRes. 35/2020, art. 1“the period from birth to six (6) years old”
Who may open oneRes. 35/2020, art. 5no one may operate “unless he is licensed by the Licensing Authority and is authorised by the KHDA”
Who approves the feesRes. 35/2020, art. 26fees require KHDA approval
Arabic teachingAdmin. Res. 48/2025, art. 5an Arabic-speaking teacher for “at least one third of the total weekly instructional hours”
When that starts to biteAdmin. Res. 48/2025, art. 7a three-year transition from 1 September 2025 or 1 April 2026

Two consequences. A centre here is not a school — a different permit under a different resolution, which is why this guide and our guide to schools near Business Bay describe two separate markets. And the operating detail — hours, ratios, capacity — is left by article 33 to separate Director General resolutions, part of why so little of it is published.

Does anyone publish what a nursery costs in Business Bay?

No. Zero of twelve — and that is sharper than it looks, because article 26 above means the figure exists: every one of these nurseries has a fee schedule the regulator has already approved. It is simply not on the websites.

What circulates instead are third-party numbers, and they disagree: a band for Learning Tree from one directory, a single annual figure for Numu from a specialist site, a general area range from a property blog attached to nobody. None of those is in our table. A figure reported about a business is not a figure published by it. The only reliable route is to ask the nursery for the KHDA-approved schedule in writing, and to ask what sits outside it — registration, materials, meals and transport are commonly separate lines.

What changes for Arabic in a Dubai nursery?

A rule already in force that no nursery page in this survey mentions. KHDA’s Administrative Resolution No. 48 of 2025 took effect on publication, 23 July 2025, and requires an Arabic-speaking teacher to deliver at least one third of weekly instructional hours across three stages: under 3, 3 to 4, and 4 to 6. Centres get a three-year transition from 1 September 2025 or 1 April 2026, depending on the school year they run.

Worth knowing because of how it reads against the marketing. Two of the nurseries above sell multilingual teaching as a differentiator. Within three years a third of the week in Arabic is the floor everyone has to meet, not a feature. The question to ask is no longer whether a centre teaches Arabic, but how far along the transition it already is.

How close is each nursery to a desk on Marasi Drive?

No walking minutes without a pedestrian route, so these are bands anyone can verify from the addresses themselves, measured from Bay Square building 12, Marasi Drive — our Business Bay address (that’s us).

BandNurseries
Same street — Marasi DriveCanadian Kids (Churchill Tower), Creative Kids (Clayton Residency)
Same district — Business BayKids Castle (Windsor Manor), Learning Tree (Bay Avenue, Executive Towers), Blossom Business Bay (8 Boulevard Walk), Angel Heart, Numu (Canal Bay), Maple Bear (Burlington Tower, unclaimed)
Across Sheikh Zayed Road — DowntownJINS (South Ridge), Blossom Downtown (Yansoon 7), Toddler Town (The Residences), Burj Daycare (Children’s Pavilion)

The band matters more than the minute for one reason: the nursing-break hour in Article 30. A same-street nursery is inside that hour with time to spare. A Downtown one, across Sheikh Zayed Road at eight in the morning, is where the toll and parking arithmetic starts — written up separately in our guides to Salik toll charges and parking in Downtown Dubai, and no figure from either is repeated here.

What does the nursery day leave of the working day?

Ten to eleven hours, five days a week, and no Saturday anywhere. Every one of the six that publishes its days publishes Monday to Friday, and not one publishes a weekend hour. In a district built on a Monday-to-Friday office week that is unremarkable — until your deadline is on a Saturday.

The honest arithmetic, both ways. A hot desk with us (that’s us) is AED 950 a month with one hour of meeting room included, and member access is 24/7 — the part that pairs with a nursery day, because the two hours lost at drop-off are two hours you can take back at ten at night. A day pass is AED 120, so the line sits at eight days: eight passes cost AED 960, a month of hot desk AED 950. Need a desk fewer than eight days a month — exactly the parent on a 2-day-a-week nursery contract — and the day passes win, not the membership. Our reception is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00; the desks are not. Prices exclude VAT, added at checkout.

What would we check before signing?

Five questions, in the order they cost money. Four of them are things the websites above do not answer, which is the point.

Ask forWhy it matters
The KHDA-approved fee schedule, in writingregistration, materials, meals and transport are commonly separate lines
The attendance structureone of the six publishes 2, 3 and 5-day options; a five-day contract on a three-day week is a 40% overpayment

FAQ: 10 quick answers

Where these come from: our own search data carries zero impressions on every nursery term we checked — nursery, nurseries, daycare, kindergarten, childcare — across two consecutive 28-day periods. On ground that blank there is nothing to mine, so these ten come from the keywords actually measured for the area and from the survey above.

1. How many nurseries are there in Business Bay? Nine distinct names across the five lists read on 4 October 2026 — but two of those names are one operator at one address, and one is placed in Business Bay by three lists and disowned by its own brand. The defensible count is seven addresses, of which three publish the age they accept.

2. What is the youngest age a nursery in Business Bay will take? Forty-five days. JINS Downtown, Kids Castle Business Bay, Blossom Business Bay, Blossom Downtown and Canadian Kids all publish 45 days on their own sites. That is not a legal minimum: it is the number of fully-paid maternity leave days in Article 30 of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021.

3. Do nurseries in Business Bay publish their fees? None of the twelve does. The figure exists — Executive Council Resolution No. 35 of 2020 requires KHDA to approve a centre’s fees — but it is not on any of the websites. Ask for the approved schedule in writing, and ask which lines sit outside it.

4. Which nursery near Business Bay opens earliest? JINS Downtown, at 07:00, which is also the longest published day at eleven hours. Kids Castle Business Bay opens at 07:30 as standard. The two Blossom branches open at 08:00 with an optional early drop-off from 07:30.

5. Are nurseries in Business Bay open on Saturday? Not one of the six that publishes its days does. All six publish Monday to Friday only. If you need weekend cover, the published timetables will not give it to you and the question has to be put to the nursery directly.

6. Who regulates nurseries in Dubai? KHDA. Under Executive Council Resolution No. 35 of 2020, article 5, no one may operate an early childhood centre in Dubai unless licensed by the Licensing Authority and authorised by KHDA. KHDA also keeps the public register of licensed centres.

7. Is there a nursery in Downtown Dubai? Yes — four addresses, of which three publish something checkable: JINS at South Ridge Towers, Blossom at Yansoon 7, Toddler Town at The Residences. A fourth, Burj Daycare, is named by one list and we found no operator page for it.

8. How much maternity leave do you get in the UAE? Sixty days in the private sector: 45 fully paid, then 15 at half pay, under Article 30 of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021. A mother is also entitled to up to one hour a day of paid nursing breaks for six months after delivery — an argument for a nursery near the desk rather than near the home.

9. What is the difference between a nursery and a school in Dubai? A different permit under a different law. Nurseries are early childhood centres covering birth to six years under Resolution 35 of 2020; schools sit under the private schools regulations. Fee structures, inspection regimes and admission ages do not line up between the two.

10. Do Dubai nurseries have to teach Arabic? Increasingly, yes. KHDA’s Administrative Resolution No. 48 of 2025, in force since 23 July 2025, requires an Arabic-speaking teacher for at least a third of weekly instructional hours, with a three-year transition from 1 September 2025 or 1 April 2026. No nursery page in this survey mentions it.

What to do next

Shortlist on the two numbers the nurseries publish — the age and the day — and get everything else in writing, starting with the approved fee schedule. Then put the desk where the nursery is, not the other way round: an hour of nursing breaks and a 07:30 drop-off both reward being on the same street.

That part we can help with. A hot desk is AED 950 a month with an hour of meeting room and 24/7 access; a day pass is AED 120 below eight days a month. Our Business Bay address is on Marasi Drive, the same street as two of the nurseries above, and our Downtown address is a short hop for the Old Town ones.
